If you had a million dollars to give away, who would you give it to?
This is an interesting one, because with inflation, $1 million is certainly not what it was 15 or 20 years ago. Still, there are a boatload of things that you could do with $1 million.

If I had $1 million tax-free, I would certainly give some of it to my parents, so that they would be extra well taken care of as they age. My daughter would get her student loan paid off and some savings started too.
Some of it I would just have as cash so that I could just give away to people who may need it. Not necessarily the people standing on the corner with their signs, I know there’s a decent portion of those folks who are running scams. But other random people in need, if I could drop $300 or $400 on them, so they could fix their car or get a hotel room, that would be amazing.
I personally love a couple of specific nonprofit organizations and what they do. One of them is Habitat for Humanity. I’ve donated to them every year for quite a few years now. Even if it’s only $50, if it can help folks get housing I’m all for it.
Another nonprofit that I am donating to yearly is the Arbor Day foundation. I love forests, I love trees, and I think there should be more of both.
